Let The Super Bowl Commercials Begin!.....

.........after all, isn't that really why over half of us watch?.........

The biggest event of the new year has arrived.  A very large number of fans have been waiting and couldn't be happier that the day is finally here.  People will sit on their couches and cheer, laugh, boo and there is always a few who will say,"That was terrible!  Who decided that was a good idea?!  I can do a much better job than that!"  Yes, we all know people who say that.  Throughout the entire airing there will be some major hits and some severe misses.  There are always really big misses.  You all know what I'm talking about.  It is finally time for the Super Bowl commercials!

This year there are quite a few that I have high expectations for after seeing the "leak" commercial on television or YouTube.  I'm also wondering if many advertisers will be able to top their commercials from last year.  For some it will be easy, if they are any good at all.  For some, it will be really hard to top the greatness of 2010.  Here are a few commercials that really knocked it out of the park.  I mean to say that they made a field goal or touchdown or two point conversion?  Whatever.  Here are some that were incredibly entertaining!

This clip is a compilation of someones opinion of the top 10 commercials from 2010.  Although I do not agree on all, it is pretty accurate.  For the record, Snickers should have been #1!

The major flaw in this top 10 is they left out these two!

How can neither of these be on any Top 10 list I found!

Budweiser is always pretty good and it seems that this year they will have something to last year's. A western reference.  Last year the music was obviously something you would hear in a western movie or TV show.  This year, they have gone totally western.  Check out this sneak peek which, by the way, features Andrew Sensenig as the bartender.

Andrew is a Dallas based actor with Linda McAlister Talent.  Her agency has a lot of great talent.  I had the privilege of working with Andrew in a short film in 2007 and he was great then as well.  The look on his face makes me want to know what or who is causing it, which means I will definitely be looking for this one.

Another commercial from this year that has already hit YouTube is this one.  They hit the nail on the head with this one!  I wonder what other commercial they have up their sleeve?

My predictions on which team will bring their "A" game?   Team Snickers, Team Pepsi, Team Doritos, Team Budweiser, Team Volkswagen, Team Go Daddy and Team E Trade.   As for the actual game prediction?  To be honest, I could care less if the Cowboys aren't playing.  Yeah, I know.  I may die of old age before that happens.  Unless Jerry Jones goes first, then I just might get lucky!

..........So what are your predictions?.......On the commercials I mean....
